15-year-old boy shot in the head in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Los Angeles police say a 15-year-old boy has been shot and wounded in the head.

Capt. Alfred Labrada says officers found the victim inside an RV parked along a street in Boyle Heights early Thursday.

The boy was rushed to a hospital where he underwent surgery.

Labrada told reporters at the scene that investigators are looking for possible witnesses.

Police have not released suspect information or named a motive.
