NYPD: Male body found in Queens park

NEW YORK (AP) - Police say the body of an unidentified man was found in a Queens park.

The body was discovered Sunday afternoon in a wooded area of Alley Pond Park near 76th Street and Cloverdale Road in Oakland Gardens. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the city’s medical examiner is to determine the cause of death.
