RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A participant in the Carytown 10K race has died after collapsing near the finish line.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports (https://bit.ly/2pSLCiB) that Richmond Road Runners President Bill Kelly says the man received CPR on Sunday and was taken to a hospital. Kelly would not identify the runner, citing privacy of his family. The Richmond Road Runners organized the event.

The cause of the man’s death is unknown.
