INDIANOLA, Iowa (AP) - Authorities have identified the two people killed when their car collided with a semitrailer in southern Iowa.

The two were identified as 32-year-old Ashley Greubel and her husband, 36-year-old Joseph Greubel. They lived in Indianola.

The collision occurred around 3:50 a.m. Tuesday, about a mile south of Indianola on U.S. Highway 65/69. The Iowa State Patrol says Joseph Greubel was driving south when his car crossed the center line and rammed into the oncoming big rig.



The Greubels were pronounced dead at the scene. They are survived by three children.

The patrol says the truck driver wasn’t injured. He was identified as 31-year-old Bruce Sprague, of Chariton.
