NEWARK, Del. (AP) - New Castle County police say they believe a man who tried to kidnap a woman from a Newark apartment complex is the same man who kidnapped and robbed women in two separate incidents last month.
Police said in a statement that a woman reported that a man in a ski mask approached her with a gun at the Bluffs Apartments on Monday, demanding money. She told police he forced her to her apartment but when they arrived, another adult answered the door and he fled.
Police say their investigation is still in the preliminary stages, but they believe it’s the same man who kidnapped and robbed women at the Top of the Hill and Arundel Apartments in separate incidents last month.
