LIBERTY, Maine (AP) - State police in Maine say a person was killed in the collision of a passenger vehicle and an oil truck in the town of Liberty.

Police say the collision occurred on Route 3 on Monday. They did not immediately identify the person who died in the crash.

Maine troopers say traffic will be diverted around the site of the crash for the rest of Monday afternoon.



Liberty is located about 25 miles east of Augusta in Waldo County.
