SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (AP) - Police are investigating a fiery crash that left the driver injured in South Kingstown.

It happened shortly after 1 a.m. Saturday near the Charlestown town line. Police say a vehicle hit a telephone pole and burst into flames. The driver was hospitalized in unknown condition.

Police say no other vehicles were involved.



The driver wasn’t immediately identified.
