SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Utah’s unemployment rate held steady last month a 3.1 percent.
The state Department of Workforce Services said Friday that February’s unemployment rate means about 47,500 residents were unemployed that month but looking for work.
The national unemployment rate fell last month to 4.7 percent.
Workforce Services’ Chief Economist Carrie Mayne says Utah’s economy is operating near what’s considered full employment.
