Woman dies in Pike County house fire

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky State Police say a 53-year-old woman has died in a house fire in eastern Kentucky.

Police said Connie Holt was pronounced dead at the scene Thursday in the Island Creek community of Pike County.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
