BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A fire involving a truck carrying electronics closed all lanes of Florida’s Turnpike near Boynton Beach.

Capt. Albert Borroto of Palm Beach County Fire Rescue said crews found the truck engulfed in flames Wednesday morning in the southbound lanes.

The turnpike was closed to traffic for about an hour while firefighters put out the blaze.

Borroto said the truck had been carrying electronic equipment and its tanks were full with approximately 300 gallons of fuel. He said one person was injured and taken to a hospital.

No additional information was immediately available.
