HARBESON, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a mail truck driver has been seriously injured in a crash in Harbeson.
Police spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier says 44-year-old Kimberly Humphrey of Milford was driving the mail truck Thursday when it was struck by a van, causing the mail truck to crash into a stop sign.
Humphrey was airlifted to a hospital in serious condition.
Fournier says the driver of the van, 46-year-old Michael S. Mears, had hit Humphrey after not staying stopped at an intersection.
Mears was not hurt and was cited for failure to remain stopped.
