NEW YORK (AP) - A stabbing on a subway left two people injured, including a 24-year-old pregnant woman.

Police say the two women friends were on a train at the Prospect Avenue subway station in the Bronx Thursday night when they got into an argument with a man over seating.

Police say the man pulled out a knife and stabbed the pregnant woman in the neck and her 21-year-old friend in the arm. Both women were hospitalized and are expected to survive.

Other people helped subdue the suspect, who was taken into custody by police.
