TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Police in Tulsa say a sport utility vehicle believed to have struck and killed a woman in an apparent hit-and-run has been found.
Sgt. Leland Ashley told reporters that the Buick Enclave vehicle was found about 7 a.m. Tuesday after a caller reported it abandoned just more than a mile from where the woman was found Monday night.
No arrests have been announced.
Police say a Buick emblem was found near the body of the woman, who is described only as being in her 20s or 30s.
Leaving the scene of a fatal accident is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison in Oklahoma.
