IMPERIAL, Mo. (AP) - No injuries have been reported after an Amtrak train struck an SUV near St. Louis.
The accident happened around 6 a.m. Tuesday along the Mississippi River near Imperial, Missouri. An investigation into the cause of the accident continues.
The train, bound from Los Angeles to Chicago, is carrying 168 passengers.
Imperial, in Jefferson County, is 23 miles south of St. Louis.
