PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say a 14-year-old girl suffered non-life threatening injuries when she was accidentally shot by a friend.

Police responded to a Phoenix home on Wednesday morning after reports that two teenagers were home alone and had retrieved a gun.

A 12-year-old boy told police he accidentally shot his friend. The girl was transported to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.



Police haven’t made any arrests in the case.
