Pedestrian killed while crossing the street near UNLV campus

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Las Vegas police say a male pedestrian was killed in a deadly crash near the University of Nevada, Las Vegas campus.

KVVU-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2sT1KiF ) that the man was crossing the street early Monday before he was struck by an SUV.

Police say he was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating the crash.
