ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities are still searching for a suspect involved in the shooting of a Rochester police officer.
Officers were responding to an unrelated call just before 11 p.m. Saturday when the officer was shot in the city’s northeast section.
Police say 36-year-old Police Officer Jeremy Nash suffered a gunshot wound near the face and is hospitalized in stable condition.
Police on Sunday gave no other details on the shooting.
