WHITEHALL, Pa. (AP) - A corner says two elderly sisters were found dead in their Pennsylvania home, one following an accident and the other due to natural causes.

The Lehigh County coroner’s office said 79-year-old Elizabeth Kocis and 86-year-old Evelyn Kocis both died sometime after May 1 in the Whitehall Township home. Their bodies were found Monday after police were asked to check on them.

Coroner Scott Grim said Elizabeth Kocis died of blunt force injuries due to a fall, and her death was ruled accidental. He said Evelyn Kocis died of natural causes.

The sisters were the only two living in the home, which has since 1953 been owned by another sister who is now 83 in a nursing home.
