SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - Police in Syracuse say a late-night shooting on a city street has claimed the life of a man in his 20s.

Officers responded around 11:10 p.m. Sunday to reports of shots fired on Richmond Avenue. When they arrived the officers found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

An ambulance crew arrived on the scene but police say the man died a short time later.



His name is being withheld until his family can be notified.

Police say they don’t have any information on a possible suspect. The investigation is continuing.
