PATERSON, N.J. (AP) - New Jersey firefighters successfully contained a blaze at a hair dye facility but were partially dyed a vibrant yellow in the process.

Paterson Deputy Fire Chief Mike Fleming says they had to decontaminate firefighters after they left Passaic Color and Chemical Company with yellow hair dye on their skin and gear. NorthJersey.com reports (https://njersy.co/2rLDkFO ) none of the firefighters were injured and the fire itself was contained quickly with minimal damage to the building.

Fleming says the fire was knocked down within minutes, since it was contained to a single room in the facility.
