LAURENS, S.C. (AP) - The names have been released of two people killed in a wreck in South Carolina earlier this week.

Laurens County Coroner Nick Nichols told local media outlets that 35-year-old Rebecca Davis of Woodruff and 26-yea-rold Matthew James Cudd of Roebuck died in the wreck Tuesday morning.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the two died in a collision on state Highway 101 in Gray Court.

Troopers say Cudd’s vehicle crossed the center line and hit Davis’ vehicle head-on.

Davis died at the scene. Cudd was taken to Greenville Memorial Hospital where he died.
