RENO, Nev. (AP) - The Washoe County District Attorney’s Office has ruled that two Reno police officers were justified in fatally shooting a man.

The officers shot 36-year-old Mathew Grows in November 2015 after he shot and seriously injured two neighbors.

Grows is accused of having attempted to shoot multiple other people during the incident. The district attorney’s report states Grows was walking toward three unarmed people with a gun in his hand when the two officers ordered him to drop the weapon.

The report states Grows did not respond to their commands and continued moving toward the people, raising the gun in their direction.

The officers then shot him three times for the three people’s safety.
