MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities are offering a reward for information about the theft of dozens of guns from an indoor shooting facility in Tennessee.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says about 43 guns were reported stolen from Range USA in Memphis on Saturday.
Investigators say they are trying to determine the exact number of firearms that were stolen from the federally licensed firearm retailer.
The bureau said Thursday it is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
The National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for the firearms industry, will match the bureau’s offer, for a total reward of $5,000.
Anyone with information about the theft should contact the ATF or the Memphis Police Department.
