ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A fire broke out in the attic of a Florida motel, forcing authorities to evacuate 62 adults and five children.

Local news outlets report no one was injured when in the Wednesday night fire at a Travelodge in Orlando.

Motel guest Lazaro Almeida tells WFTV he spotted the fire, notified management and started knocking on doors. He says “there were families, old ladies,” all frightened because they didn’t know what was going on.

The television station reported 39 of the motel’s 132 rooms were evacuated.

An investigation into the cause of the fire continues.
