CAPITOL HEIGHTS, Md. (AP) - Police are investigating the death of a man in Prince George’s County as a homicide.

Prince George’s County police say officers went to a home in Capitol Heights around 6:50 Tuesday morning for a welfare check. They found a man suffering from “trauma to the body,” and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further details were immediately available. Anyone with information was asked to contact police.
