KINGMAN, Ariz. (AP) - Four homes, five vehicles, one boat and a utility trailer were destroyed during a fire that swept at least two Arizona city blocks.

The Daily Miner reports (https://bit.ly/2tJ3Dkz ) Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District Chief Wayne Eder says three additional homes were damaged from heat and smoke during a blaze Sunday in Kingman.

Four adults and three dogs also were displaced and one person was treated for smoke inhalation.



Due to 15-20 mph winds and 100-degree temperatures, 42 fire fighters and 12 engines responded to the incident.

Firefighters remained at the scene for more than six hours, extinguishing hot spots.

Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District investigators believe the fire was intentionally set and has turned over evidence to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.
