DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) - Authorities have identified a man who was killed when he walked in front of a train during a parade in downtown Dickinson.

Sixty-four-year-old Michael Thorstad, of Dickinson, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Highway Patrol says he was struck about 11 a.m. Saturday by an eastbound BNSF train.

The incident remains under investigation.
