Missing man found dead in stolen car near Salem, Oregon

SALEM, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say a man reported missing by his girlfriend was found dead in a stolen car north of Salem.

Oregon State Police discovered the car 35 feet off the road, the man’s body partially ejected from the vehicle. The agency believes the crash happened several days before the car was spotted.

The Statesman Journal reports (https://is.gd/OdNL47 ) the man was identified as the suspect in the theft.

His name was not immediately released.
