ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Police in Albany have charged a man who they say set fire to a home and poured gasoline on a pet rabbit.

Authorities say a 23-year-old Albany man set a house on fire last Saturday. Police say the man doused a pet rabbit with gasoline while the animal was in a cage on the back porch.

The fire was extinguished and the rabbit wasn’t hurt.

Investigators say the man had a relationship with one of the residents of the home.

Police have charged the suspect with arson, three counts of reckless endangerment and animal cruelty.
