ABERDEEN, Md. (AP) - Police say they charged a student in connection to threats made about a shooting at a Maryland middle school.

The Baltimore Sun reports that police determined four threats made against Aberdeen Middle School were non-credible. A student was charged in connection with one of the threats.

The eighth grade student at the school was charged with making threats of mass violence.

The school was on a modified lock down earlier in the week, with about half the school absent on Wednesday.
