OCALA, Fla. (AP) - A Florida man has died in a fire at a two-story home that contains six apartments.
The Ocala StarBanner reports fire broke out Sunday afternoon. When firefighters entered the home, they found the man lying on the floor. He was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.
No one else was injured in the fire, which was contained to the man’s apartment, which was on the first floor.
The man’s name hasn’t been released.
The American Red Cross assisted 10 residents who were displaced by the fire.
