MARIETTA, Ga. (AP) - A woman told police she shot and killed a home intruder at her house in suburban Atlanta.
Marietta police say the woman called 911 shortly after 2 a.m. Thursday, telling dispatchers that someone tried to break into her home and that she shot him. Officers then found the man dead inside the house.
Authorities haven’t released other details about the homeowner and the man.
Police said they planned to release more information later Thursday.
