HENNIKER, N.H. (AP) - Three months after New England College celebrated its largest graduating class in its 70-year history, the college will welcome its largest incoming class ever.

More than 490 new students start class on New England College’s Henniker campus on Monday.

College President Michele Perkins says the college’s academic and athletic programs are expanding. It also will soon break ground on a performing arts center.

Incoming students will be arriving from a number of states and from Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. There will be 105 students from New Hampshire.
