WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - About four hundred motorcycles have taken part in a rally in Delaware to honor first responders who have died in the line of duty.
The News Journal reports (https://delonline.us/2w9RTIs ) they came to Delaware Park on Sunday as a tribute to six people who died over the last year and to support their families.
Each of them was honored during a somber service, which included the tolling of a memorial bell.
Kevin Keatin, a co-chair of the first Fallen Heroes Benefit rally, says to lose even just one emergency responder in a state as small as Delaware is terrible.
The bikers came from across the region. They represented a variety of clubs, organizations and individuals.
