NOKESVILLE, Va. (AP) - Authorities say human remains have been found in northern Virginia.

Prince William County Police say officers found the remains Tuesday evening in Nokesville. Police say the remains were taken to the medical examiner’s office in Manassas for an autopsy.

Police say the identity of the person is not yet known. Police say the identity will be released once it has been confirmed and next-of-kin have been notified.



Police say there is “no public threat or need for concern.”
