NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - Delaware State police have arrested a man after a deli was robbed at gunpoint.

Troopers said in a news release that it happened Wednesday afternoon. Police say man with a handgun confronted a clerk in the Country Maid deli and demanded cash.

Officers say the clerk gave the robber money from the cash registers and the man ran away.



Police say a customer followed the man and called state police. Troopers found a man they say robbed the store and arrested him.

Thirty-one-year-old Santos Banks has been charged with robbery.
