LEWISTON, Maine (AP) - Police in Lewiston are urging residents to be cautious after a fox bit two people.
The first incident happened Thursday night when a fox bit a woman on the arm as she tried to protect her dog from the wild animal. The second happened Friday morning when a man was bitten.
Police told the Sun Journal (https://bit.ly/2wSA3as) that the animal is believed to have a face full of porcupine quills. Authorities searched for the animal but couldn’t find it.
