LAS VEGAS (AP) - Authorities in Las Vegas say one of the suspects in the slaying of a 19-year-old woman in March coordinated the attempted robbery remotely from his phone.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal (https://bit.ly/2p1zyKT ) reports police believe 18-year-old Daelin Wagner was not at the scene when Alyssa Sayago was killed.

A police report states Wagner and a 17-year-old boy arranged to meet Sayago March 13 to buy an ounce of marijuana from her. Sayago was later found death in the backyard of a northwest Las Vegas home.

Wagner and the teenager were later arrested outside Nevada.

The report states the teenager admitted to a “cooperating citizen” that he shot Sayago after she sprayed tear gas on his face.

Wagner and the teenager face various charges including murder and conspiracy to commit robbery.
