ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - A 33-year-old western New York woman who stabbed her husband to death is headed to prison.
A State Supreme Court jury convicted 33-year-old Jennifer Pryor of manslaughter on Friday.
Pryor stabbed her husband Roger to death a year ago after they drove from their home in Buffalo to attend a concert at Main Street Armory in Rochester.
After a confrontation between the couple at a fast-food restaurant, Jennifer Pryor stabbed her husband twice inside their vehicle a short while later. He died at the scene from wounds to his neck and right chest.
Jennifer Pryor’s defense was that her attack was the culmination of an abusive relationship over several years. She faces up to 25 years in prison when she’s sentenced in May.
