The District’s Fox affiliate, WTTG, will host a special live edition of “Friday Night Live With FOX5” at Rockville Town Square in Rockville, Maryland, Friday. WTTG anchors Tony Perkins and Mike Thomas will be on hand to highlight Rockville Town Square’s restaurants as well as preview a concert by local band Ruthie and The Wranglers, which commences at 6 p.m.
Prior to the concert, Mr. Perkins and Mr. Thomas will take part in a “FOX5 5 Course Meal,” with each course presented by a different local restaurant. Participating restaurants include Spice Xing, Samovar, La Tasca, La Canela and Thai Pavilion.
Rockville Town Square presents concerts every Friday evening during the summer months. As the season changes the square will launch a new series called “Friday Night Live” for the fall.
