HINDMAN, Ky. (AP) - A coroner in eastern Kentucky says two children have died in a house fire.

Knott County Coroner Jeff Blair told media the bodies were taken to the medical examiner’s office for positive identification.

Blair says two adults and another child were able to escape the fire, which was reported about 5 a.m. Friday at a home in the Lackey community.



Kentucky State Police fire investigators are trying to determine what caused the blaze.
