HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a South Florida man admitted to stealing $40,000 worth of Beats by Dre headphones from his boss because he was tired of being underpaid.
The Sun Sentinel (https://goo.gl/0Sg4rJ ) reports that 27-year-old David Anthony Hunter was arrested Wednesday and charged with grand theft.
An arrest report says Hunter worked for an online retail business based in Hollywood. The business owner told deputies that Hunter had taken about 425 pairs of headphones, most of which were returned.
Hunter was being held on $2,500 bail. Jail records didn’t list an attorney.
