Pedestrian killed in West Haven hit-and-run is identified

WEST HAVEN, Conn. (AP) - Police in Connecticut say the pedestrian killed in a weekend hit-and-run was a 52-year-old West Haven resident.

Rudy Chacon Portillo was hit shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday. Police say the driver fled the scene but was later found, along with the vehicle.

The driver hasn’t been identified. The crash remains under investigation.
