TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police say a 19-year-old woman was killed in a collision that injured two others.

Authorities say the accident happened just before 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the area of Swan Road and Glenn Street.

According to detectives, a Toyota Corolla was hit head-on when a Toyota Camry crossed over a left-turn lane.



Police say Gisela Puerta, who was driving the Corolla, died at the scene. A female passenger was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. A male passenger was uninjured.

The male driver and sole occupant of the Camry was also transported with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say he showed signs of intoxication at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
