DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - A 12-year-old Des Moines boy hit by a car while crossing a city street has died.
Des Moines police say Josef Fuller died Friday night at a hospital. Investigators say he had been crossing Southwest Ninth Street before 7 a.m. Thursday when he was hit by a car.
Officials say it was dark when the accident occurred. Investigators have not said what other factors might have contributed to the incident.
No charges against the driver had been filed by Saturday.
