LAS VEGAS (AP) - A woman on a sidewalk died after she was hit by a suspected drunken driver in Las Vegas.
Police say a woman has been arrested for driving under the influence after the crash Wednesday night that killed a 28-year-old woman and injured a 30-year-old man.
The driver left the scene of the wreck but crashed into a pole a short time later.
The victims were transported to a local hospital, where the woman was later pronounced dead. The man was admitted to the hospital with serious injuries.
This is the Metropolitan Police Department’s 91st traffic-related fatality.
