HEBRON, Ky. (AP) - Police in northern Kentucky say two Louisville men have died in a single-vehicle traffic accident.

Boone County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Maj. Tom Scheben says in a news release that the accident occurred Saturday night in Hebron.

Scheben says a northbound car left a road, went airborne, overturned and struck a tree in an embankment.

The statement says 27-year-old passenger Benkat Prashant Kommu of Louisville was pronounced dead at the scene, while another passenger, 25-year-old Raja Sakar Reddy Yarmala, was pronounced dead later at a hospital in Cincinnati.

Two others in the car were transported to hospitals in Cincinnati with non-life threatening injuries.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
