NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Police in North Little Rock say a woman is dead and a man is in custody following a shooting at an apartment on the city’s west side.
Police say in a news release that officers investigating a shooting shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday found 18-year-old Yasha Bonds dead at the scene with a gunshot wound to the head.
Police say a 20-year-old man was arrested a short time later on a capital murder warrant.
Police say the man is being held without bond pending his first court appearance that’s scheduled for Thursday.
