REDMOND, Wash. (AP) - Police say a man who was sleeping in a trash bin in Redmond has been rescued after being dumped into a garbage truck.

KOMO-TV reports (https://goo.gl/59G19M ) that Waste Management crew members were just starting to compact the refuse Tuesday morning when they heard the man screaming from inside the truck.

A Redmond Fire Department crew quickly arrived and rescued the man. He was treated at the scene for injuries.
