Man found dead north of Spokane may have died months ago

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of a man found in a home north of Spokane who had possibly been there for months.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that authorities were notified of the man’s body in the residence Monday morning.

Deputies discovered the body and said it appears to have been there for an extended period of time. Authorities are investigating because the man’s cause of death is unknown.

Detectives believe the man lived an extremely isolated life and didn’t have much contact with neighbors.
